Dwayne De Rosario is on his way back home.

The former MLS MVP was selected by Toronto FC in the second stage of the MLS Re-Entry Draft, providing a chance for the hometown hero to once again try and lift the club to the playoffs for the first time in franchise history. De Rosario was unceremoniously dealt from Toronto to New York after two-plus seasons in the spring of 2011 (and then again moved that season to D.C.), going on to capture league MVP honors. He’ll have to negotiate a new deal with Toronto before officially becoming a Red yet again.

De Rosario wasn’t the only notable name on the move. A day after adding Eddie Johnson via trade, D.C. United boosted its attacking corps even more by selecting former Real Salt Lake and New York Red Bulls forward Fabian Espindola. Among the players not taken, and who are now technically free agents, are former FC Dallas star and MLS MVP David Ferreira and former U.S. men’s national team defender Heath Pearce.

Here’s a rundown of all the players taken on Wednesday (14 teams passed on using their picks, and the remaining unselected players are free to sign with any team in the league):
