Arizona running back Orlando Bradford has been dismissed from the program after being charged with seven felony counts of domestic violence.

Bradford, a sophomore from Shreveport, La., was charged with four counts of aggravated assault and three counts of kidnapping. He is being held on $20,000 bail.

"Earlier today, we were made aware that Orlando Bradford had been arrested. As a result of his actions, he has been dismissed from the program," Arizona head coach Rich Rodriguez said in a statement.

According to authorities, they received a 911 call at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday in reference to an alleged domestic violence incident involving Bradford.

The victim says she was assaulted by Bradford several times over the past few days and when officers arrived at the scene they noted she had obvious injuries.

Bradford was the second-string running back and ran only five times for 16 yards this season for the Wildcats.
